Live Music by The Brew

The Brew is an electrifying jazz-fusion band from Austin, fronted by self-taught guitarist Michael Rodriguez and featuring his brothers on bass, percussion, and drums. Originally formed in the 1970s and relocated to Austin in the early 1980s, they’ve become a beloved local act. Their music blends smooth jazz, rock, flamenco, and Latin-jazz—infused with melodic flair and rhythmic energy—and highlighted in albums like In the Beginning, Rio Vista, Latin Brew, and Rumba Caliente.
